Are there any wireable devices that provide reverse polarity protection on a 12VDC circuit?

A series connected diode with a sufficient current capability is the easiest way. However that will reduce the available voltage by 0.25V to 1.2V depending on the specific diode chosen and the current drawn.

I was thinking maybe there was a small board assembly that contained a diode and a fuse, with leads coming off it that may already exist, but I can create my own circuit.
