3M is a well-known materials company that makes a little bit of most everything. Among their multitudinous products is 5952SQ-12(6), one variety of VHB tape. We’ve had some questions on this product recently and whether it comes with adhesive and liners on both sides, liner on only one side, or adhesive on only one side. Which is true?
As its web page states, this is double-coated, double-sided tape, so it does have adhesive on both sides. It also ships with a liner on both sides as well, making it easier to work with for many applications.
