Hi,

I am looking for the part number for an actuator magnet for PIC MS-390-4-4-0500 sensor. The spec sheet says one is available, but a part number is not given. I cannot find a reference for it.

Thank you for your post.

I believe on the last page of the datasheet it mentions MSM-390 for the magnet.

I do not see that we have that exact option, but we do have some options in the MSM series and it looks like the main differences are magnetic strength and physical dimensions.

Yes, I saw that, but it doesn’t seem to be a good part number. It doesn’t show up on the PIC website. I guess we’ll have to experiment with an off-the-shelf magnet. Thank you. Paul…

The MSM-320 magnet does show up on their website and ours. It’s not the identical form-factor, but it looks to be the only one available in a similar snap-fit type form-factor.

I couldn’t find the MSM-390 magnet on their site despite it’s mention in the MSM390-4 datasheet.

I’d recommend at least considering the MSM-320 magnet if your looking for a similar type of mounting option.
