Amphenol Wilcoxon offers a selection of sensor and monitoring technologies for industrial control applications. It might surprise one, then, to discover that they also sell braided cable sheathing, their part number ‘S’ and ours 2053-S-ND. This product has no datasheet and is sold in vague quantity; what’s the deal?
Wilcoxon normally uses this braid themselves, adding it to their own cable assemblies. It’s available for sold-separately sale as a convenience, but as it’s not considered its own specific product as such it has no datasheet. The braid is ordered by the foot, qty. 1 gets you one foot while qty. 5 should yield five feet of braiding.
