# Anti-Static, ESD Grounding Mats

> Static control grounding mats are designed to help eliminate static electricity when they are properly connected to ground. They are made for the floor or workbench and are available in a variety of lengths from 1’ to 100’. They come in a range of color options with the most common being blue. Materials include: elastomer, fiberboard, foam rubber, laminate, plastic, polymer, PVC, rubber, and vinyl.

  

**Selection**** Characteristics**

> **Mat Type:** Describes the intended usage or location for a mat.

> **Shape:** The physical shape of the mat.

> **Length:** The length of the mat, given in feet (meters).

> **Width:** The width of the mat, given in feet (meters).

> **Thickness:** The thickness of the mat, given in inches (millimeters)

> **Color:** The dominant color of the mat.

> **Material:** The primary material of the mat.

> **Layers:** How many different layers of material the mat includes

> **Features:** These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as anti-fatigue or dissipative.
