# \[BBB\] Error while uboot compile

Hi  
I tried to compile u-boot as following site.  
[https://www.digikey.com/eewiki/display/linuxonarm/BeagleBone+Black](https://www.digikey.com/eewiki/display/linuxonarm/BeagleBone+Black)

but it has some errors as belows

What’s wrong with it?  
Could you let me know how to fix it?

Hi @taek8461,

```auto
/bin/sh: 1: cc: not found

```

U-Boot has some native applications that need to be built to help finalize the final application. It’s looking for native version of gcc.

```auto
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gcc

```
