Beosound 4 Jumper

Hi everyone I am trying to find a jumper for this Beosound 4 power board to covert to 115v. The jumper that I used from Krystof for my Beolab 3 is too small so it seems I need a different size. It has square poles and although it is hard to measure given its location it seems perhaps 3 to 4 mm centre pole to centre pole. Any ideas? Thank you!!! Happy New Year everyone

It looks like the next available size up for the type of jumpers you’re looking for would be a 5.08mm (0.2") pitch one: A31698-ND is a good example. I didn’t see anything similar (at least nothing in stock) that stood between 2.54mm and 5.08mm, our options apparently go straight from one to the next. Hope that helps!

I did find one other shunt which might possibly work.

However, even if your header pitch is 3.94mm, this shunt is designed for rectangular pins rather than square, so not certain whether it would properly fit or not.

One other non-ideal option would be to make a shunt yourself by using a two-position rectangular connector housing, the contacts that work with it, and a short length of hook-up wire looping from one position to the other.

For example, assuming the header pitch was 0.156" (3.96mm), then one could use the following:

Thanks David. I will try to order a few different sizes of jumpers and see what happens. Fred

Thanks a lot.

Gents I got ahold of a Product Manager @ Bang and Olufsen and they will track it down for me. I will then update the blog just in case you run into that question again.
