Hello,

I am trying to make a connection from my PCB which is mounted inside an enclosure with a pushbutton that I am mounting on a hole in front of my enclosure. The pushbutton I am trying to use is [this one](https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-alcoswitch-switches/PB6B2FM5M1CAL01S500/450-2820-ND/8627380).

What is the proper way to make contact with my PCB? Do I have to solder a wire or is there a sleeve of some sort I can use? Soldering a wire to the pushbutton contact was kind of a PITA.

Thanks!

Hello @alexlesuper
The push button you have selected comes with wire leads, so I think you just have to decide if you want to put a terminal block on the board or a header and then put a connector on the switch. Either would give you a clean option to disconnect and remove the board easily if maintenance is needed.
