------Question for FSP2000-20FM Please Put your question below------
I’ve reviewed the FC250 datasheet, I dont see any pinouts or information about the terminals. I am assuming that it does not come with cables?
I have found that MODDIY sells cables specifically labeled for the “FSP FSP2000” including:
- 16-pin to dual 8-pin PCIe GPU cable ($49.99)
- 16-pin to dual 8-pin CPU EPS cable ($49.99)
- 24-pin ATX modular cable ($29.99)
Has anyone used these and can confirm compatible with the FC250 PDB? The 16-pin connector on the PSU/PDB side does it span two adjacent T-terminals on the FC250, or does it connect to the P2 output side? I want to make sure I understand which end goes where.
DigiKey stocks both the FC250 ($178) and the FC210 ($158). Both are listed as 2524W PDBs with PMBus. What’s the practical difference? Physical dimensions? Number of CRPS bays? Different cable terminal layout? I’ve designed around the FC250 but wondering if the FC210 would work the same way.
The FC250 datasheet lists dimensions of 250 x 76 x 84mm. The RM44 is a standard 4U chassis with no built-in PSU bay. Has anyone mounted an FC250 (or similar CRPS cage) in a non-CRPS chassis? Any fitment issues or mounting bracket recommendations?
The MODDIY cables appear to be 18 AWG. With each GPU pulling 600W through 4 cables, that’s 150W per 18 AWG wire (about 12.5A at 12V). Is 18 AWG sufficient here, or should I be looking at 16 AWG cables for the GPU runs?
Any guidance from anyone who has built with the FSP CRPS platform would be appreciated. Thanks.
