Can't log in to developer.digikey.com

I am trying to log in on developer.digikey.com (which I have successfully done before, a year ago or so), but no matter what I try, I always get thrown back to the homepage without being logged in.

I have tried different browsers, clearing cache and cookies, different ISP - nothing helps. I have tried both ways, first logging into the shop and then clicking login on the developer portal, which instantly throws me back to the homepage with no message whatsoever as well as clicking login in a fresh browser session, which asks me for my credentials, but then just throws me back to the homepage too.

I suspected, that my (german) account may be the problem, so I tried to create a new US account, but that’s even worse. With that account the developer website just says “Error registering user: An account with this username already exists.”.

I am out of ideas. Am I doing something wrong or is the website broken?

It seems, that the issue was resolved without me doing anything.
Today I was able to log in and was presented with the accept API terms form (again).
