I am looking for a surface mount capacity to replace a damaged one. However I don’t know which specifications it is. The instrument works with a 6V supply. And on the capacity it is written 100
A84
I am not sure how to find the specifications for the capacity. (SMAJ6 or SMBJ6?)

Like this one with (+) marking is usually a tantalum capacitor.
And this one would be one of Panasonic’s TPC series 100uF polymer tantalum capacitors.
Those 3 variants are based on their ripple current and ESR, but 10TPC100M will work fine for most applications.
Please check the datasheet for further information.
