Hi All,

First time posting so I hope I have posted this information in the right place. I would like some feedback on this product.

Does this product come with a heatsink or is it just a fan?

This product is compatible with LGA1700 scokets but will it work with LGA1851 sockets?

Will it work with this type of mini-itx motherboard?

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. This is a combination fan and heatsink. The sockets appear to be compatible as listed here.

  • Thermal Solution: Intel has maintained mechanical compatibility with cooling solutions. The mounting holes for the LGA1700 socket are designed to be mechanically compatible with the LGA1851 socket. Hi Steve,

Thank you for the feedback. I am a little concerned because I attempted to use a NH-L9i-17xx | Noctua cooler on this board and it did not work as expected. This was because this cooler has mounting points from the rear of the cooler and the motherboard has a bracket at that back that is only compatible with front mounted screws. Either way I will order one and see if it works as expected.
