Trying to ID a choke and get a replacement for it. It’s off of a power board for a small 17" LED monitor that blew a bunch of caps. I have the caps to be replaced but am looking at the choke which has been overheated.
The label on the choke says ‘ft0317 lc tc14a’ and has 4 legs soldered onto the board. I haven’t found any reference online to the label IDs but maybe someone at Digikey has an idea or at least knows what kind to swap it out with? TIA!
Hello bshaw400 and welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
Unfortunately, I am not finding anything based on the provided label marking. Are you able to share the monitor model number?
Yes, it’s an Acer X203H, ver. X203H bd. It has a power rating of
100-240V-, 50/60Hz, 1.0A. Hope that helps. I think there were many flavors of the X203H as I’ve seen some power boards that purport to be X203H but appear quite different (maybe for good reason?).
That’d be a common-mode choke of some flavor, no clue as to value based on markings, fair chance it’s custom even. One could look through the link above to find something that’s of similar size/package as a start.
