Comchip CDBB1100-G

------Question for CDBB1100-G Please Put your question below------

The datasheet for Comchip CDBB1100-G lists the -HF, not the -G series. Is there a PCN that defines the change in PN’s?

There is another TechForum post on this subject, scroll down to the very bottom of the page.

To summarize,

-G suffix is their old format that indicates RoHS Compliant.

-HF suffix is RoHS Compliant and Halogen-Free.

Both part numbers are available for this diode.

I understand the difference between the parts, am looking for something “official” like a PCN, to document for a customer.

There is no official PCN on these. There is no change. They’re the same part, they just keep the -G suffix for people that can’t change their Approved Material List. They’re both Halogen-Free.
