We want to know the difference that the “W” represents between the following part numbers:

  • MMBT3906-7-F-W

  • MMBT3906-7-F

Could you please clarify if the “W” suffix indicates an automotive grade specification (such as AEC-Q101 qualification) or if there are any other variance details we should note?

I’m not seeing the W suffix for this part and several others with the same W suffix, documented anywhere. I’ve reached out to Diodes Inc to provide this information. I’ll get back as soon as I have any information.

Diodes Inc hasn’t gotten back to me on this request yet. I just sent a follow up request to them on this, I’ll get back to you as soon as there is anything.

Between us If I had to wager this is going to me something like an alternate fabrication location but I’m going to wait until we get official confirmation.
