I also checked to see if there were any possible stocking alternatives available, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find any.

DX30A-68P(50) is in DigiKey’s own catalogue, H123229-ND, 18 in stock today. It’s the IDC version though, not solder cups like the DX40. And Hirose has it as not recommended for new design, so I’d only use it for a repair.
