Extended board

Hello, for repair an old equipment automotive Bosch, i need an extended board for général purpose, with 40 pins each side, where i can see it on the DigiKey site ? Because i saw for larger and small one but not for 2 x 40 pins.

  • Can you elaborate a bit more on what it is you’re looking for?
  • Is it a board with pads onto which parts are soldered?
  • Does it have holes in it?
  • What sort of dimensions would you expect it to be?
  • Can you give some example part numbers or images of the general type of thing you seek, so we can try to find something for you?

So i put a picture comme from Vector Electronic Technilogy, which DigiKey is a local distributor.

I try to found the same board with 40 pins each side.

Also i dont know if it is 1 inch or more, for the pins, i think on my board it is more wide.

So far I am not seeing that we currently carry a 40position item from Vector(or any supplier I see that we list.).

I think it will be easier to suggest an alternative if you mention the exact configuration. Is it 40 pins per side (80 total contacts), or 2 × 40 pin headers (2.54 mm pitch)?

it is 40 pins per side (80 total contacts) and i think it is 2.54 mm pitch

We don’t look to have that at 40 contacts per side. Closest are 36 3690-2 and 50 3690-12 which you probably saw already.

yes i saw it, so it is better to take the 50 contacts and cut for put in the 40 contacts.

About the 3690-12 0.125" (3.18mm), 3,18mm it is between center of two contacts ?

That is correct. The contact spacing (pitch) is 0.125" (3.18mm)
