Fuse drawer removal tool

I am using the Schurter CEL0.6100.151 power entry module (PEM) in our new product and it has been approved and we are nearing production release. An issue has come up on how to free the fuse drawer when a voltage and fuse change are needed. The PEM is on a power supply system that is installed deep into our overall chassis – getting a flat screwdriver under the flap on the fuse drawer is not easy. It’s hard to believe we are the first to have this problem. I was wondering if Schurter had a recommendation or a tool to assist freeing the fuse drawer in such situations? Questions directly to their website have not been replied to - I’m hoping you have some direct contacts there to assist with this.

For Schurter’s fuse drawers they indicate that they can only be extracted with the aid of a tool such as a screwdriver.

If the issue of reaching the mechanism is angle perhaps considering something like 5627-05008100001-ND or 277-5437-ND

Thank you both for your suggestions. I am aware that a thin flat screwdriver will work - the problem is the screwdriver can’t get to the the PEM at the proper angle, see pics below. That is why I am asking if another tool is available for this scenario?

The nature of the product contemplates mounting on an external face of an enclosure, where drawer access is unencumbered and tool-less accessibility to what lies beneath is specifically undesirable from a safety standpoint.

Internal fixation such as shown constitutes an edge case for which the requirements are unpredictable, and demand for any purpose-built tool couldn’t likely support OEM production in any case. In such circumstances, your best option is likely to design/fabricate your own.
