I have a blown component from a motorhome distribution unit and for the life of me find a definitive result with some places saying it is a 1uf capacitor and others saying it is a 1nf capacitor which is not very helpful.
It is 10mm x 8mm x 4mm ish. as you can see this one has gone pop.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and if anyone could point me towards a workable replacement this would be great.

Marking looks to me like “1µ0J 63” which suggests a 1µF, 5%, 63V film capacitor.
Listings in stock that match or improve on this description may be found here. Further selection using the Lead Spacing filter to find something that fits conveniently would be a likely next step.
It’s unclear how exactly the item was being used, but failures of the sort aren’t particularly common, barring some manner of abuse. Be on the lookout for other failures/damage within the system.

The owner conected the battery incorrectly and it all went bang including the battery so it has suffered some extensive damage which has now been repaired bar this one little component and a MOSFET.
Hopefully when these are replaced it will all work again because a new unit costs over £600 and only available in France so import duty will be added to this cost. My customer really doesn’t want to pay that much.
I really appreciate you confirming the value of this cap because google searches were conflicting all the time.
