Hirose U.FL series Receptacles - Suffix

When looking at the U.FL series small surface mount receptacles from Hirose, you may finds a different final suffix at the end of part numbers, such as U.FL-R-SMT-1(01) and U.FL-R-SMT-1(80). The datasheet does not typically call out the meaning of this suffix

This final suffix calls out the number of pieces per bag packaging.

Part Number Packaging
U.FL-R-SMT-1(01) Bag Packaging (100 pieces/bag)
U.FL-R-SMT-1(10) Bag Packaging (2,500 pieces/bag)
U.FL-R-SMT-1(40) Bag Packaging (4,000 pieces/bag)
U.FL-R-SMT-1(80) Bag Packaging (10,000 pieces/bag)

Also, you may sometimes find a suffix “-1” in the part numbers, such as U.FL-R-SMT-1(01). This suffix “-1” does not call out the meaning in the datasheet.

  • This suffix -1 in the part is an internal call out to Hirose. It indicates where it is manufactured.

Thank you for your explanation, means -1 in U.FL-R-SMT-1(10) is manufacturer code, without -1 what does it denote.

@thinesh.ravi, welcome to the forum. What is the part number you are looking for?

HI Barley,

the PN given to us is U.FL-R-SMT(10), but available part number is U.FL-R-SMT-1(10), is it something different technically

@thinesh.ravi , these 2 part numbers are functionally the same, but are manufactured in two different locations.

OK thank you, where do i get these location identification.

@thinesh.ravi, it is supplier internal code. You might check with the manufacturer.
