How can I check the rank of a Transistor? 5399-D882CT-ND

Hi,

I recently purchased DigiKey part number 5399-D882CT-ND, manufacturer part number D882 from Shenzhen Slkormicro Semiconductor.

The datasheet lists four hFE classifications at VCE = 2V and IC = 1A:

  • R: 60–120

  • O: 100–200

  • Y: 160–320

  • GR: 200–400

I specifically need Y rank (hFE 160–320). However, the DigiKey product page, order documents and bag label only show the manufacturer part number as D882, without specifying the hFE rank.

The bag label shows lot code TIA25K1031Z and date code 2537.

Could DigiKey please confirm whether this lot is Y rank? Is the hFE rank marked on the individual components or encoded in the lot information?

Thank you.

Hello andy5,
Welcome to the TechForum, I have put in a request and as soon as I have the reply I will post it.

Can you provide a detailed picture of the top part marking of the parts you received?

Hi Kristof,

Please check attached file, thank you!

Hi, just following up on this enquiry. I have now provided photos of both the individual component and the DigiKey bag label. Could you please help confirm whether lot TIA25K1031Z is hFE rank Y (160–320) or GR(200-400)? We need this information before proceeding with the sample run. Thank you.

Hello,
Per the manufacturer the ranking is the GR.
