How do I request a return from Digi-Key

Returns can now be easily requested online through your My Digi-Key portal.

To request a return visit the review order page for the order that contains the product that needs to be returned. A “Request Return” button is listed with each of the orders invoices.

Clicking the “Request Return” button will navigate you to the Return Request form. Find the part number that you need to return, and then enter the quantity you would like to return as well as a return reason. You can choose to have the return shipping costs deducted from your credit or you can handle the shipment yourself. By choosing to deduct from your credit Digi-Key will provide a UPS label that can be printed out.

If you’re returning a product that was ordered by mistake or is no longer needed, you will be navigated to the return approval page. Here you can send the necessary documentation to the party handling the return or print your shipping label and return documentation.

In the case the return is the result of a mistake made by Digi-Key a customer service representative will be notified and will contact you shortly after the return is submitted. To access your previous online returns you can visit the Returns link located in the “Ordering and Shopping Carts” section of My Digi-Key.
