71918-130LF is designed to be soldered onto a circuit board. It’s not made to be attached to a cable.
For something intended to be installed on a cable you need to get over to another category of parts, Free Hanging, Panel Mount
Example:
AWH 30G-E202-IDC
The other thing is I don’t believe we have assembly services for this type of cable any longer.
I am just struggling to find value added options that mate with this base. I found this one M1DXA-3036R 3M | Rectangular Cable Assemblies | DigiKey but it took me a very long time. Why can’t you show those cables under mating products?
If you click on the assembly component connector used on that cable: 3419-6600 it lists the mating connectors available for it if you scroll down the the bottom of the page under Mating Products.
