These are a good 500VDC capable connector and I have some more parameters below.

XT60 prevents reverse polarity, and when plugged in the connection is super-solid. Suitable for applications up to 30A continuous current. Pole Format: 2P. Pitch: 7.2mm. Type: Plug/Socket Pair. Voltage Rating: 500Vdc. Current Rating: 30A. Cable Spec: 12AWG. Surge Current: 60A.

There are two questions here:

  1. Can the connector be used for 240 VAC / 240 VDC? Maybe.

  2. Should the connector be used? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

From a safety perspective, there is a hazard of electric shock from the exposed solder-type connections. Even when heat shrink tubing is used, the hazard remains. For example, water may intrude into the connector and provide continuity to the user’s fingers.
