Fabricating a replacement feed-through plate (manufactured by Willco Elect., pn. CC4627HB2) for a biosafety cabinet from the 90s.
The schematic shows it as a 2 pin header, manufactured by Methode, pn. 2300-002-100. It couples with a 2 pin connnector, Methode, pn. 2300-002-218. The dimensions are 2.25mm at the base of the spade, and 25mm long from board to end of the connector.
Also looking for the 6 pin header, Methode, pn. 2000-006-100, and 6 pin connector, Methode, pn. 2300-006-218.
Any help is appreciated.
Unfortunately I’m not seeing anything that’s a decent match for this among the connectors we carry. It looks like Methode must have stopped making them some time ago as well, as I wasn’t able to find any current resources for the old part number.
Thanks Chris. I contacted Methode, they stopped production of these parts in 2008, following the closure of their Connector division.
The basis of this connector appears to be an front-of-board-facing (top row), bottom-facing (bottom row) alternating 2.54mm pin headers, connected to small male spade connectors with 25mm extensions. The top and bottom row are bridged solder to allow feed-thru connectivity. Any ideas on how to replicate this?
I recommend replacing both sides of the connectors. These are the 2.54 headers we have avalible.
Once you select the header, you can select the mate.
