if I were to buy this with longer extension is it ok?

This is a challenging question.
The HM0360-MWA-00FP963 is a compact camera.
From the datasheet, I see a 6 to 24 MHz Master Clock (MCLK) input. This fact alone suggests that extensions are undesirable from a signal integrity perspective. The camera may experience intermittent faults.
A long extension may act as an antenna risking interference. Also, it may radiate interference to other devices (not good for FCC compliance).
Recommendation: If this is a class project. Try and see what happens. If nothing else, you will have an interesting slide in your presentation. If this is a professional project, no.

Where can I find the extension? Do you have the stock for that or any supplier can supply it?

None that I am aware of.
Note that Himax offers a similar (lower resolution) camera with a short cable.
We can assume that these were meant for direct connection to the host PCB.
