Could you please give me the insulation reistance between conductors, and between the conductors and the shield ? Thanks

Hello production1 and welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

I have been unable to find this information on any of the documentation, but I have reached out to Belden to see if they are able to share the values. Once I have received a response, I will update you.

With cable designed for,

low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, …); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; computer communication; panel wiring

, most manufacturers don’t specify insulation resistance. Because the voltage/current ratings, plus the numerous safety standards it is tested to, are sufficient for >99% of the intended applications.

Adding an insulation resistance specification and, making certain it is always achieved over decades of production runs, adds significant production costs.
