That’s an interesting question. It has properties of both switch and circuit breaker.
However, according to the datasheet:
Mechanical life in excess of 50,000 operations. In many applications, however, contact wear due to the electrical load determines unit life. At maximum electrical ratings, the SNAPAK® can perform 10,000 operations at rated current and voltage.
Recommend you consider the total lifecycle of your equipment to determine the suitability for operation as a switch. Here 10,000 cycles is once a day, every day, for 30 years.
