Hello connor_hockey20,
I want to confirm in the pictures that the first picture with the circled wires is the back side of the body of a rocker switch, the second pictures is the rocker actuator cap, and the third picture is the front of the rocker switch’s body (with the rocker actuator removed)? If so, it’s possible that we have something that may work HERE, however to be sure we’ll need a little more information to narrow down the results. Do you have measurements of the switch body? Many times there is an alpha-numeric sequence and/or specifications on the body of the switch. If you can provide that to us it will significantly increase the chances we can find a replacement.
Regards,
Klint
Can we assume that the rocker switch is a 3-position, with the center position OFF and that the switch stays in whichever position it is moved to, as opposed to returning to the center position (referred to as “Momentary”)?
What are the dimensions of your panel cut-out? That’s a primary means of determining the possible options for you.
Also, is your top actuator still functional? As in, is it broken in any way, or did you just remove it from the switch body? If it’s not broken, then one might be able to get a switch body and re-use that actuator.
Another question: Are the lights within the body of the switch LEDs or incandescent bulbs?
On off on
Stays on when pushed
Switch still works just the switch faceplate is broken a little peice off and falls off when travelling
Here’s a small subset that have a cut-out of around 36.6mm x 21mm that may be in the realm of what you need.
The below link shows the caps for the Contura® V series switches that we do list.
Accessories - Caps | Switches | DigiKey
13/16”w x 1”5/16 L
That’s the back yes circled
Cap is the cap off the front and yes that’s the front of the rocker
Incandescent but if there’s LED model that would work too
If you only want the top actuator, then it’s irrelevant.
Here are some dual window options available.
If you decide you want a whole switch, then here are a couple of highly water-resistant options:
Hello,
Here are the Contura Actuator Styles available, it looks like you may have the Contura IV surrounding style which isn’t listed in our system. David_1528 Applications Engineer offered some good options for you to look at if you’re willing to change the look at the actuator.
Based on the way you show it, I assume it’s a right-hand side Contura IV cap. From what I can tell, the part number is probably the following:
We don’t stock that one so it would require a non-stocking order, with a minimum order quantity of 100 pcs, which I assume you don’t want.
Anything we offer that is in stock or even normally stocking would not have the same curvature, and therefore wouldn’t look as “finished” next to your Contura V center switch.
However, functionally, I suspect the following would probably work, though it wouldn’t have the nice matching curve.
