ITT Cannon is a long-standing supplier of industrial and rugged-conditions interconnect products. Among these products is their Combo-D series, including devices like DDMM-24W7P. We’ve had some concerns lately concerning this device not arriving with any of its large power/coax contacts included, despite being listed as a connector Assembly (complete unit) rather than a Housing (unpopulated device). Is this an error? What gives?
This product shipping without its large, size 8 pints is fully intended and expected, and indeed listed as such in our website, as shown:
This is because the size 8 contact cavities can contain a large array of different contact types suitable for many different roles, and selecting which role you need and thus which contacts to purchase is part of specifying this device into your applications.
