Trying to select the current limiting resistors, and I’d like to determine if the current ratings on the datasheet, are current per segment, or current total.

I’m expecting to use 270 Ohm resistors on each segment, and I’d like to determine if these are large enough resistances. This is based on limiting it to 10mA per segment, and a 2.6V voltage drop from a 5V source, to get 2.4V forward voltage.

The 10mA would be per segment, and the typical forward voltage is 2.0V, and a maximum of 2.4V.

So I would recommend going with a 300 ohm resistor for each segment, with a 5V supply.
