# Lack of a powersupply

Watch out, there is NO powersupply with the unit!

You will need to order it separately for 12V/1amp.

Annoying …

Hi @robert.szilagyi and welcome to the TechForum

Thanks for the heads up! This is called out in the [datasheet](https://mm.digikey.com/Volume0/opasdata/d220001/medias/docus/800/FIT0537_Web.pdf). The FIT0537 ([FIT0537-ND](https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/dfrobot/fit0537/9490135)) ships without a power supply, so you’ll need to source a 12V/1A adapter separately to run the unit.

I know, since I have three units without adapter.  
Wouldn’t it be worth to add the power adapter since you have it in house:  
Look at part 993-PYA-12A120100-ND ..

DFRobot’s [product page](https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1740.html) recommends the [FIT0231](https://www.dfrobot.com/product-736.html) for this, but that’s not something we carry at DigiKey. So the [993-PYA12A120100-ND](https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/phihong-usa/PYA12A120100/26223700) you found is a solid alternative if you’re sourcing through us.

Well, I have ordered this just now and praying for a good fit and full functionality.  
I’ll report back, hopefully with positive news.
