Lack of UL/CSA marking on breaker?

Why does the PB206-ND (30A, 250VAC breaker, W58-XB1A4A-30, purchased from DigiKey) not have a UR or CSA label on the device, while the PB203-ND (15A, 250VAC breaker, W58-XB1A4A-15, Digikey is one of the suppliers in our system for it) does have the requisite markings?

All the information needed is in the series datasheet. On page 2 of the part number breakdown, it notes that the 30A rating is not UL or CSA.

That’s a nice little easter egg…

Unfortunately, that is not an uncommon thing among electro-mechanical products. I’ve seen it many times that only a certain subset of parts within a product family have UL/CSA ratings.

It’s a pain, but a necessary evil to check datasheets to verify such on any parts in which such ratings matter to you.

No, for sure. :-/

Does the Carling CLB30311A3NBA come with one mounting nut or two? If just one, is a second available separately from DigiKey (the spec sheet notes ‘all hardware available separately’)? The TE above has two (one hex, one knurled) and I’d prefer to not have the bushing stick out too far.

As far as I can tell, according to the part number, the A3 after CLB30311 indicates that it is a type A bushing that has a type 3 nut included. Extra hardware has to be purchased separately. Unfortunately, I do not know what the threading information is to be able to find an extra nut as they don’t document that.

The CLB30311A3NBA has an M11 bushing with undefined thread pitch (I was unable to find info on the pitch either). The only item I have come up with is the following:

Tensility International Corp

Unfortunately, I don’t know if the thread pitch matches the Carling part.

EDIT: Thanks to @mlindquist (see below), it has been determined that the 11mm bushing of the Carling CLB30311A3NBA has a 1mm thread pitch, so the 839-56-00000-ND M11 x 1.0 nut will fit.

Thanks for the find there. I’ll add it to the initial order. If the pitch matches (i expect it will) then great, otherwise its only a few bucks for a 10 pack.

Great! If you get a chance, let us know if it’s a match, as others may find the info useful, as well.

Received the package and it spins on cleanly.

Great! Thanks for letting us know!
