I am in need of some LED lamps for a broadcast console. Original company moved to produce other things that are more profitable and the secondary supplier of parts stopped a couple of years ago. I measured 5VDC and about 250 MA. I have included a circuit diagram that has the lamp shown in it and the old part number as well. I have uploaded that diagram as well as measurements for lamp itself.. so you get an idea of the package.It seems bidirectional, so I may be way off on the LED part. Or if an LED part would retro fit, that would be fine.
The symbol and measured current flow are indicative of a miniature incandescent lamp, which are nearing obsolescence at this point. Current listings with stock can be found here.
Replacement with some manner of LED may be an option; devices with built-in resistance for direct 5V operation can be found here, or adding another resistance externally to accommodate one of standard type may also be an option, depending on other applicable considerations.

I will consider the options you have provided. I would like to source an LED that can work in this environment… because of where it is located, extra resistance is going to hard to add.
