Looking for sliding power transfer solution

Can you help me find out 24v DC sliding power transfer hardware…i have copper strip on top for input power. Do you have a product that can connect to that strip and provide continuous power in sliding motion?

Hello chirag.kathiriya,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
A spring battery contact may work, which is 478-8742-1-ND.
If you want 2 contacts for better connection, you can look at items like 478-11681-1-ND, 478-13414-1-ND or 478-009155002021016CT-ND.
Please check the datasheets to verify compatibility to your application.

Thanks David. Do you guys have any sliding power transfer assembly that has one end fixed and the other can slide on it?

I don’t see that we have a linear slip ring in our system. Typically if a power cable is going to be used in a linear motion, a drag chain is used. Otherwise if there is rotation, then a slip ring.

There are suppliers that have linear transfer solutions, but they are very robust and are custom made. Here is a link from TE for their Power Busbar Solution.
