Before I place my order, I want to verify that the AK-NORD LPT2USB cable will allow me to send print jobs from my old XP computer to a new USB laser printer. The DOS software I need to use sends a particular font to the printer with a batch file when starting the program.  
Will this cable basically make the software think it’s send the font and print jobs to the USB printer?

**Printing**  
SPP  
ECP  
IEEE1284  
IEEE1284.4

**Bidirectional**  
Nibble-Mode  
Byte-Mode  
ECP-Reverve  
BECP-Reverse
