LTC2447 ADC connection to laptop computer for data aquistition

I have the LTC2447UHF ADC and want to connect it to my laptop so I can capture the ADC output data. Is this possible? If so what kind of adapter do I need? If this is not possible, then how is it that we acquire the ADC output data?

To connect with a PC from this device, one would order the DC846A LTC2447 Demo Board

. . . and the DC590B USB Serial Controller for Linear Technology QuikEval Demo Boards, which translates the SPI signals from the LTC2477 on the DC846A to USB and connects that to your PC.

Unfortunately, we are curently out of stock on the DC846A, though it looks like we are expecting one to come in fairly soon.
