Hello,
I have a question about the Molex 0795405067 (Digikey part number 900-0795405067-ND). Digikey’s product page states a voltage input range of “9 ~ 16VDC”. However, I cannot find any such specifications in Molex’s documentation (datasheet or drawing). I’m wondering where this specification comes from?
Regards,
Mike Twieg
Hello mtwieghr,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
I am going to do some research into your request and get back to you.
Hi mtwieghr,
This may not be sufficient for you, but I think I found where that info might have come from.
Looking within the “Datasheets and Guides” section of the “Automotive USB Power Delivery Modules” product page on the Molex website, the USB Smart Charge Modules “Datasheet” shows several similar devices (unfortunately not showing a single part number) including what appears to be this particular item, and it specifies there the 9 to 16V “battery operating voltage”, as shown below:
Correction:
After further inspection, on the third page of the “Datasheets and Guides” datasheet it DOES give part numbers and proper electrical specs, as shown below:
Hi David,
That must be it. Really odd place for Molex to put that info. Glad that Digikey captured it in the product attributes though.
Thanks for your help!
Mike
