The photo image of this hand crimper tool has me seeking questions about whether the tool head will fit into the application I need it for. Can I place the head of this tool over a # 10 stranded wire conductor, how much clearance do I need with the head of this crimper, and which way is the crimp designed to fit into the crimp head.
I seek more visual of this crimper, or assurance that this tool will fit and perform in the application I need it for, or are there other crimpers that I should be looking into.
This crimper is for Molex 190080063 un-insulated flag terminals for # 10 stranded wire.
I see about adding a couple photos where I want to pull the flag crimps off the capacitor terminals and crimp

thanks Rick. Figure 1, figure 2 and figure 3 from the application tooling spec document, all have me worried that the feed wire into the crimper head, only feeds through one way.
It appears the conductor punch has an edge that the conductor feeds through the crimp, and stops at the conductor punch edge.
In the application i need the crimper to work, the conductor feeds through the crimp. The wire enters the crimper head on one side and exits the crimper head on the other side.
Especially figure 3, shows the conductor entering from the right side and hitting a ‘stop’. If I were to use this crimper in my application, it appears the conductor punch would slice into the wire exiting the left side of the crimper.
The exploded view in figure 6 suggests the ‘stop’ to be a movable/removable component.
Thanks again Rick. With figure 6, I reword my use of ‘ stop ‘ to how it is referred as being as item 4 : 64003-1695 locator assembly.
Removing the M4 locknut, and removing the locator, then resecuring the locknut, has me thinking the crimp is not being guided in the Crimper head as intended
If the locator had a portion removed, a conductor hole, or two versions of the locator, one for one end entry and another for wire feed through, it would make more sense for me
Leads me to another thought, if that Crimper only is designed for right side wire entry into the crimp, if left side wire into the crimp was desired, is the locator designed to be removed and secured on the other side of the head ?
It appears to me that the matter is being over-thought.
The sort of pass-through application pictured is atypical, since a crimp barrel large enough to pass an insulated wire tends to be a poor fit to the conductor if formal methods and standards are to be observed. The tool in question is accordingly not designed to accommodate it.
You are free to use and/or modify the tool in any way you like if you buy it; assuring the quality of the end result will be your responsibility one way or the other.
The tool in question is the one manufacturer-approved hand tool for the contact in question. Whether you choose to use it, modify it, or just grab some random pinchy tool out of the box and mash on the contacts like a caveman (it appears to me that the latter option was chosen for the present art) is your choice.
I understand. Thanks Rick. Yes the pass through sample in photo has very bad crimping and not hard to imagine why that Manufactorer went out of business.
I do need to build something to try and repair it.
