The part is marked with M3JJ, the silkscreen ref is U6. It is connected to pins 2 & 3 of a TMS320F28035PAGS microcontroller.

Unfortunately, I could not find anything on that IC and was not able to identify it. Maybe someone else on the forum can assist.
I haven’t figured out what your part is yet, but pins 2 and 3 of the TMS320F28035PAGS, in addition to standard I/O, are “SDA A” and “SCL A”, respectively, of I2C port A. That may well be a clue to help narrow down the possibilities.
Determining which pins of the part in question go to the TMS320 might further help to narrow that down. Since you would need 2 pins for power and ground and two for I2C communication, that only leaves one pin for other functionality. It may just be an I2C temperature sensor.
What is the length and width of the body on that part? Is it a SOT-23 form factor (roughly 3mm x 1.6mm) or smaller?
