Hi there!
I am very new to custom board design, and this if my first attempt at using a MCU (ATtiny1616).
I have tried to find as much ressource as possible and came up with this circuit (SIGNAL and DAC_OUTPUT will later be connected to analog sensor circuit).
If any of you have time, could you provide any feedback if there are some errors to correct or improvement to be made.
Ps: I am using 3V since the board will then be powered by a 3V battery.
Thank you.
Welcome, Alexis.balzano, to the DigiKey TechForum. Thank you for your request. I will reach out to my colleagues for any recommendations.

Hi alexis.balzano ,
I’ve given a look-over and don’t see any obvious issues.
I don’t see a pull-up on RESET, though that isn’t strictly required unless you want that functionality.
I am not very familiar with using an on-board USB-to-serial chip to interface with the UPDI, so not sure what the best recommendations are for the passive components placed between UPDI, TXD, and RXD. I did a little poking around the web and saw several variations, with varying resistor values, and in some cases, the diode is moved such that the anode connects to RXD while the cathode connects directly to TXD. I would recommend double checking that you have that right, and/or allow board provisions to rearrange these if necessary.
Hi David_1528,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to review the schematics.
I will check for this UPDI connection which seem very odd.
I really appreciate your feedback so thanks again!
Have a good day,
Alexis.
