I am looking for pressure sensor exact equivalent for NPC-1220-030A-1-N or the same PN with Milgrade which can work from -55 degrees

Hello karthik.kumar, welcome to the TechForum! Are you working with Fahrenheit or Celsius? It appears we do not have any in stock that match the Celsius range you are looking for. The only other option that can almost work at -55C would be ABH01KPSC4B-ND. Please note that this requires a manufacturer quote, which may include lengthy lead times and a high minimum order quantity.

If you are looking for the Fahrenheit range, the only options I see are the following in this link. This particular category does not have a filter function for anything with Military specifications either, so you’d have to double check the datasheets. I could not find a direct substitute.

  • Type: 30 PSIA Absolute Pressure Sensor (NovaSensor NPC‑1220 Series)

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether a MIL‑spec or ruggedized variant exists, it should have operating temperature range from -55 degrees Celsius

  2. Whether a custom military‑qualified version can be manufactured, and

  3. Any environmental qualification data, lead times, and minimum order requirements.

I reached out to NovaSensor regarding this question as I don’t see options listed in their datasheet, nor do I know of a series that is qualified. The likely answer is that they don’t have one made at this time. If they can make one, I’ll let you know.

We wouldn’t have access to the environmental qualification data for any new parts and we cannot give an estimate on lead time or minimum order quantity. In the event NovaSensor cannot do this, it would be best to try to reach out to other manufacturers that make these kind of parts directly. DigiKey does not specialize in Military-Spec parts as all parts are COTS only. All stated Mil-Specs are for reference only.
