Hello! I’m fixing a Jura S9 with a bad steam boiler ntc sensor, I’d like to replace it with a generic one because the OEM part is harder to find at a good price around here. Anyone knows the beta value i should go for? Thanks in advance.
The Jura S9 steam sensor uses an NTC thermistor. Its resistance is roughly 12 k ohm at 20°C. Do not select replacements by beta alone. Match resistance, beta, and temperature rating carefully.
Thanks for the answer, the closer values I can find are 10k ohm and beta 3435. Would that work?
We have some 12K ohm at 25C here:

Not sure which of those would be a good replacement though.
It might work, but it can be marginal. If possible, find a 12 kΩ NTC first.
Matching beta is more important than exact resistance.
But both values should ideally match closely.
