NXP S32M2™ Motorized Ice Cream Maker – Potentially Genius

Project Summary

This episode of Petentially Genius demonstrates how the NXP S32M2’s sensorless motor-control capabilities can be used far beyond automotive systems. By measuring motor load and current draw, the team created a smart ice cream maker that automatically determines texture, adds toppings at the perfect moment, and signals when the ice cream is ready - all without dedicated consistency sensors.
