I am trying to obtain the 34-pin harness and corresponding crimp pins seen in the link below:
This part is analogous to the traditional 34-pin IDC connector:

However, the main feature I am after is the ability to crimp certain cables (of lower gauge) to particular positions of the housing rather than clamping an entire permanent ribbon to it.
While I am unable to identify that connector specifically, I was able to find some options to consider based on the criteria you provided and linked them HERE. These are all 34 pos (2 row) with crimp termination, female sockets and a pitch of 2.54mm, please check the datasheet to ensure it will work for your application.
I want to know if DigiKey has this same part or can at least help identify the part number so I can look for it from perhaps a more reputable source. I’d also need assistance identifying the crimp pin compatible with it.
IDC stands for “Insulation Displacement Connector” and typically refers to the method by which the connector contact attaches to the wire/cable being terminated. This concept is mutually exclusive with a “crimp” style approach to the same issue, so asking for both is likely to frustrate the search process.
HIF3BA-34D-2.54C(63) seems a likely option to consider. Associated contacts are documented on page 13 of this document with options typically varying by plating and compatible wire gauge.
These are some similar options. Details of retention or polarization features notwithstanding, connectors of the form are known to intermate readitly.
