Power Film Solar Panel

Hi,

I’m new to solar. I have a small, roll up power film solar panel and would like to use it to charge an Elecraft KH1. Do I need a charge controller? Also where can I get the cables? I’m in a small city in Japan and have limited resources.

DigiKey is not a distributor for Elecraft products, so we do not know what is required for that device.

You should contact Elecraft, or one of their distributors. They would be better equipped to advise you on the requirements for solar charging that device.
