Hello i ordered the bios chip for my dell laptop bios chip #25r512NWEQ The chip arrived but it doesn’t have new bios installed on it. My question is did i forget to select a certain option for the pre installed bios chip or if you can guide me on where to find the software’s.
That is correct, these would be blank, as we are a component distributor. The Dell oem that assembled Dell’s motherboard would have also received the same chip blank and would have then flashed it with Dell’s proprietary firmware BIOS.
We have no access to Dell’s or the oems firmware BIOS.
Your best bet is to contact Dell for direct support.
