Can someone confirm what the 110xxxx suffix represents for Sierra WP modules (e.g., WP7702_1104918 vs WP7607-1_1105149) and whether WP7607-1_1105149 is a valid replacement for WP7702_1104918?
Hello @medi.dm,
Thank you for your post.
The manufacturer does not list a full part number breakdown on the datasheet we have.
Their site does have more information available, however for some of it you will have to create a login to request certain information.
As far as whether or not the parts are good replacements, that is going to depend on your application and it’s requirements. There is a data rate difference so you will want to keep that in mind.
The fact that the beginning of your part numbers WP7702 and WP7607 indicate you have two entirely different modules that wouldn’t be compatible.
WP7607 is Cat-4 EMEA (Europe)
Frequency Bands B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, B28
WP7702 is Cat-M1/NB1 Global
Frequency Bands B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B8, B12, B13, B17, B18, B19, B20, B26, B28
