Good Morning - Hirose datasheet has the following statement:

“This product is a solderless mounted connector for prototype evaluation of high speed transmission boards. It is not recommended for use in actual commercial equipment.”

Can you please confirm why it is not recommended for production / commercial equipment and if there is an equivalent product which is recommended for volume production?

As mentioned in datasheet, The HK-LR-SR2(12) is a solderless, compression-mounted 2.92mm RF connector designed for prototype evaluation. These types of connectors are typically used for lab testing or temporary setups, as they may not offer the same mechanical robustness or long-term reliability as soldered or more ruggedized connectors used in commercial products.
