The programmer for the bridgelux driver #BXDR-46LT-C214A-01-A-12 seems to be obsolete and unavailable. How can I program it? program # is BXPR-MU-02-A
It seems that drivers with an NFC port can still be programmed with part number 976-BXPR-WN-01-A-ND. Unfortunately it looks like a number of Bridgelux drivers, including BXDR-46LT-C214A-01-A-12, lack this port and rely on a hardwired connection.
The good news is that the BXPR-MU-02-A is not obsolete, it’s limited due to supply constraints, so either it’s coming back eventually or a replacement model will be introduced. Until then the best I can advise is to use external resistors to change the programming, even though this can be a cumbersome process compared to the programmer. I haven’t seen anything we carry that’s a confirmed replacement for that programmer, but maybe there’s a third party solution out on the web somewhere.
OK, do you know what default parameters this driver is shipped with? specifically the milliamps
I haven’t had any luck finding this, so I’m reaching out to see if a Bridgelux rep can clarify this for us. I’ll follow up once I have their answer.
Ok. Also ask him how we are supposed to program the drivers if we can’t buy the programmer anywhere
